~did you see this?~

Did you see this post from Laurie at

Well when I saw this display....I knew I had to head over to
another favorite antique store of mine....

I'm telling you these girls at Worthy Goods
are simply amazing!!!!

~Creative Geniuses~

I literally stood in their booth/window display
for
many
minutes...

just

soaking....it......all.....in.

everything was full of texture and deliciousness
and when I saw this little cutie....
I started thinking about our bedroom redo....
(click here and here  to read about it)
and how darling this might possibly be in there....

one of the neatest things they do.....
is repaint furniture but leave the tops
raw & untouched....no finish...

I am so loving that....

so we picked it up Saturday night
 and moved dressers around
and now it's loving it's new little home in our freshly revamped* almost
done* bedroom!

{seriously though...
I am about ready to freak out....
 with the nasty...
 brownish...
 orange-ish...
 moldings......
please look the other way.............:o)
  oh, and the nasty unfinished light switch...oops...}

details I'm loving....
the distressed worn out mirror....
the yummy naked wood

and the original knobs

Thanks Laurie!!

I wish I could say I'm done with our room....

but not yet....

but it is coming along & I will update you all shortly!!

Have a great week friends!

~urn love~

Hi there!

It seems all the inspiration that speaks to me lately
definitely has
a
spring
theme!

So....let's have a little more....

while browsing through my files on
Bountiful
I realized....I don't have enough of these....
~urns~

or enough lilacs.....boo hoo...
I bought a "little Kim" lilac bush
4 years ago & have been
sadly
disappointed....

I think I'm going to pull it out....ok transplant it...
this year...it needs a new spot
not, front & center, where
it currently resides...

I get about 6 blooms a year!!

Is this not gorgeous???
wow~ look at those hydrangea blooms!
seriously, they are so gorgeous!
can never have enough of them
I have found them to do great in containers...
even when I thought they were dead over winter...
they came back.....

and bacopa is so beautiful....
I guess it's pretty easy to start from seed!
a nursery owner told me that last year...
so we better get on that, huh?

~sigh~
where does one find an architectural detail
like this?
and how cute is this?
love it!

and you know what?
the sun is supposed to be shining for the
next 2 days!

Have a great Wednesday!

 ~s  n  a  t  c  h ~

this gorgeous set of serving pieces...

4 matching pieces....

it was a silver extravaganza for ticking and toile girl....

 aren't these beautiful?

a monogrammed silver ladle
"R"
it's so gorgeous, wish our last name started with R!

this vanity mirror is as sweet as can be

 very old & shabby
and fabulous!

and look at this darling little angel.....
is she the cutest little thing ever?

~feeling a little shabby~

Hello friends!

I've been doing a little browsing through the ol'
idea files & started feeling a little shabby~

sometimes this style just hits home with me.....

you know what I mean?

so easy & carefree....
no need to worry about dings & dents...

I love this table & it's very little paint left,
and the the floors....I almost had the nerve to paint our floors white....
.....almost.....

anything with a white slipcover on it is divine....
especially if it's close to something all chippy....

Rachel Ashwell has really become an interior design icon...
but can you believe....
I was out shopping with my sweet friend,
and commented about Rachel Ashwell....
and she said, "Who's that?"
~gasp~
I was like "whaaaaaat?"

{doesn't everyone live in the decorating/blogging world?!?, no?? ;-) }

my goodness does this sofa just make you swoon?
I could do without the blue pillows,
but the sofa......wow.....

ahhhh, could curl right up in this & love every minute....

I am definitely going to grow as many white flowers this year
as I can find.....
need to fill up lots of vases this summer.....

well maybe a little pink mixed in.....you can almost smell this huh?

Oh, and here's the latest weather update....

*r a i n*

boy were those sunny days a dream....
but now we are back to reality....

Ok...off to organize my etsy shop stuff

oh, if you could only see my messiness....
but, we got some new shelves (yes craigslist $20)
so I can get my messies together!

~cabbages and roses~

Hello my friends!

Can I just tell you....
{I'm sorry in advance if you are in the NE!}

that we have the most amazing....

~sunshine~

here is the Pacific NW!!

it has been rainy & cold for so long......and now 60 degrees
and clear blue sky....ahhhhhhh.....

can you say major Spring Fever?????

So on that note....

here's a little Cabbages and Roses
sunshine for your soul!

I know that I am WAY late in discovering this
amazing company!!!

but, I did just recently discover
their website

and their photography is just
breathtaking!

not to mention their fantastic fabric selection!

just some yummy stuff to make you smile....

or drool....

I am really loving the white shelves...
and considering changing my stainless steel to something similar.

I seriously can't wait to cut some blooms like these
from my garden!

and have a little garden party~

or get in my jeep like this
and head out for a day of junkin picnic with my family~

{just day dreaming....;o)}

I'm off to move some dirt around in the garden....
